Dentistry Scotland Show line up

The exhibition will host short ‘power lectures’ lasting only 20-30 minutes each. This will give delegates an opportunity to catch up with cutting-edge techniques and still have time to peruse the latest innovations.

Speakers at the Dentistry Scotland Show include:

Jolene Pinder – an introduction to Guided Biofilm Therapy – the game change for hygiene rooms

This lecture will take place at 12:30pm at lecture theatre one.

Maria Papavergos – the mouth, its microbiome and why it matters

This lecture will look at the mouth as the gateway to the whole body and discuss the importance of nurturing the oral microbiome to achieve full body health.

Maria will discuss how dietary choices and nutrition impact our oral health and overall health. A mindful approach to the mouth, building a holistic picture of health from a dental perspective.

Maria is a forward-thinking dental and wellbeing expert who believes the mouth is the gateway to the whole body. Considering oral health as important as gut health, Maria’s mission is to shine a light on the importance of the oral microbiome and its emerging view of its role in full body health. She works with clients to build a holistic picture incorporating diet and lifestyle factors when considering overall health and wellbeing from a dental perspective.

This lecture will take place at 13:50 at lecture theatre two.

Other speakers on the day are:

  • Andrew Osafo – Medical management of caries
  • Kevin Lewis – High tech: high risk?
  • Tariq Bashir – An introduction to biomimetic dentistry
  • Morven McCauley – Common mistakes with composite veneers.

There will also be a whole host of other leading speakers to help improve your business.
