Individual Raw-Abutments – application for a maxillary restoration made of Abro Basic resin 1

In this current case, the new White Metal Scanmarkers were used to accurately record the position and orientation of the implants.

In this way, it was possible to visualise the exact implant positions in the Zirkonzahn.Modellier software.

The situ scan revealed the vestibular protrusion of the screw channels. To compensate for the diverging implants, the planned rehabilitation consisted of a fixed restoration on titanium Raw-Abutments. These were precast abutment blanks for the manufacture of individual abutments.

After the generation of a consistent insertion direction for all abutments in the software, the 3D rendering permits the ordering of the Raw-Abutment blanks in the appropriate diameters via the Zirkonzahn.Modellier software in the Zirkonzahn.Webshop.

Thanks to the Raw-Abutment holder, it was also possible to mill all the required abutments in just one process, using the M2 Teleskoper milling unit.

The implant abutments were then detached from the holder and high-gloss polished with the diamond polishing paste.

Finally, they were anodised in gold-colour with the titanium spectral-colouring anodiser.

The final restoration was then milled in Abro Basic resin and the gingival areas were characterised with gingiva-composites.
