Volunteer labs play an important role in helping people with special needs served by the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program. Currently, more than 3,000 volunteer labs donate much needed fabrications including dentures, crowns or bridges.

June was Dental Technician and Certified Dental Technician (CDT) Appreciation Month and we too would like to recognize all of the wonderful technicians that contribute to the DDS program. Like technicians at Dental Prosthetic Services in Iowa. For more than 30 years they have provided over $120,000 worth of fabrications to at least 300 DDS patients.

Paul and EJane Jones founded Dental Prosthetic Services nearly 50 years ago. Her daughter Kristine Van Cleve and Dennis Becker later purchased the lab and have continued carrying on the traditions established by her parents. Dental Prosthetic Services realizes there are limited resources and patients who may not qualify for other opportunities. Dental Prosthetic Services Group Photo“We feel blessed as a company and the DDS program is one of the ways we are able to live our mission and honor the great commandment to love our neighbor,” said Kristine Van Cleve, president Dental Prosthetic Services.

DLN thanks Dental Prosthetic Services Dental Lab for its long-time commitment to serving people with special needs!
