Workshop: Getting Your Health Writing Published 1

Do you want to see your writing in magazines? Would you like to receive a check for what you write? If your goal is to share your patient leader lessons and get paid for them, this is the workshop for you.

In this webinar replay, patient leader and freelance writer Rebecca Chamaa and writing instructor and professor Joyce Hayden will provide a step-by-step overview on just how to get your work published. We go through idea generation, how to find publications that are right for your idea, and how to pitch to editors and locate their e-mail addresses.

You will finish the class with several ideas for essays, where to pitch them, and a list of resources to build those bylines!

Stay tuned for more – we’ll be building out a full writing course on the WEGO Health Platform this fall.
